Hello, Everyone --
Expanding our Pay-As-You-Go (PAGO) offerings of Virtuoso on the
Amazon EC2 Cloud, the pre-configured and pre-loaded Virtuoso +
DBpedia AMI [1][2] is now available, in addition to the Virtuoso
Cloud Edition AMI [3][4].
These instances are EBS-backed AMIs, meaning:
* The Virtuoso DBMS Server is preinstalled with basic tuning for
the host operating system and environment.
* You can stop and restart the AMI without terminating it -- so
changes and current runtime state persist.
* With the hourly model, you pay only for the time the AMI is used.
* With the new DBpedia AMI, you immediately have your own copy of
DBpedia available, without having to load-your-own.
We look forward to your reactions and continued feedback!
Please enjoy!
Ted
