Objective
--------------

This book aims to collect those novel works and techniques that enable a
fully processing and understanding of human opinions applying or enhancing
existing AI and Big Data analytics techniques through semantics. Thus, the
book seeks for researchers from Computer Science, Information Science,
Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Knowledge representation Natural
Language Processing, Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems, Cognitive
Computing and related areas to share research challenges, results, methods
and advances in the application of semantics and Big Data as an important
key process in the new data environment, paying special attention in papers
which covers the direct application or creation of advanced techniques
based on processing Big Data with semantic-based approaches.

Target Audience
-----------------------------

The subject area is a combination of semantic-based technologies, Linked
Data, Big Data, Cloud Computing, Expert Systems, Business, Management,
Information Technologies and Information Systems in which a broad scope of
audience is interested in: Politicians, Professors in academia, Policy
Makers, Government officers, Students, Corporate heads of firms, Senior
general managers, Managing directors, Board directors, Academics and
researchers in the field both in universities and business schools,
Information technology directors and managers, Quality managers and
directors, Human resource directors, Libraries and information centers
serving the needs of the above among others.
