The issue is being picked up and analysed in detail by other researchers, For those of you who may have missed it, David Krager gave a keynote on the subject. Glad to see!! http://haystack.csail.mit.edu/blog/2013/06/05/keynote-at-the-european-semantic-web-conference-part-1-the-state-of-end-user-information-management/ I hope this inspires further work in this direction. We are accepting late submissions and would welcome more reviewers http://www.semantic-web-journal.net/blog/special-issue-call-semantic-web-interfaces Also, we are planing to publish some outcome of related activities as part of this community, please join and do something about the state of the art http://www.w3.org/community/swisig/ Looking forward to progress in this space :-) Cheers PDM
