Hi Dave, I love this field and I do a research about it long time ago for the SWAD-Europe [1] You can find it in: http://www.sidar.org/ponencias/2004/egyrs/tallerws/all.htm Is in Spanish and as you can see a very early approach. My time now is dedicated to accessibility in e-learning, but I'm still interesting in that. And I think that can be interesting too for education. So I would like to collaborate with you, but I have not much time available. All the best, Emmanuelle Emmanuelle Gutiérrez y Restrepo Fundación Sidar – Acceso Universal www.sidar.org emmanuelle@sidar.org [1] http://www.w3.org/2001/sw/Europe/reports/dev_workshop_report_6/Overview.en.h tml -----Mensaje original----- De: dave@dknicholas.com [mailto:dave@dknicholas.com] Enviado el: viernes, 09 de marzo de 2012 16:10 Para: semantic-web@w3.org Asunto: Semantic Web for the Film Industry Dear all, I'm hoping to begin postgraduate research looking into the use of Semantic Web technologies within the film industry. This will likely cover suitable ontologies and semantic markup that filmmakers should begin using as their industry moves further and further onto the web. I'm interested in getting in touch with anyone else in the community who might be working on (or interested in) anything in a similar field. I'm aware of the Web and TV IG but haven't yet managed to find anyone specifically looking at web technologies with regards to film. Anyone interested in this area please feel free to drop me an email. I'm hoping to put together a group of web technologists for film that can collaborate and support each other's work. Cheers, -- Dave Nicholas http://dknicholas.com
