Re: Open Access / Semantic Web / Linked Data

PLoS has some basic RDFa in their articles.

The Citation Type Ontology[1] is pretty cool. While I don't think it's
widely used yet, there is an example where you can see how to use it [2][3].

The Semantic Systems Biology Portal has some ontologies and information on
work being done to manually add semantic annotations to papers[4].
