> > Isn't the PDF obsolete within this context? its more being up against academia's massive momentum/tradition on the PS/PDF front im not sure the point either, 90% of academic papers i click on, i either end up at some login site, so i cant even download it, or it gets piped to some folder that i garbage collect before reading, since dillo and midori lack working PDF plugins. in the rare 1 or 2% of time i actually open the file, of course hte hyperlinks dont work, in the citing section, etc. and i usually give up and close it after a page since its wrapped for printing (if you cant fit an entire column on the page, columns create more problems than they solve)
