I assume from Steve's RDF that 
http://qdos.com/celeb/8340a9fc46297f805e66b6f9e89feb80 identifies Moby as a 
person (a non-information resource) and not the HTML document describing 
Moby.

Therefore, I clearly mean the owl:sameAs.

Asserting

http://qdos.com/celeb/8340a9fc46297f805e66b6f9e89feb80 owl:sameAs
http://dbpedia.org/resource/Moby

means that both URIs are URI aliases that identify the same non-information 
resource.

Steve: Maybe it would make sence to make the distinction between the URI 
refereing to Moby as a person and the URI refering to your HTML page 
describing Moby more clear.

person
http://qdos.com/celeb/8340a9fc46297f805e66b6f9e89feb80/html to identify the 
HTML document describing this person
