Hello, We have released D2R Server 0.3 today. D2R Server is a tool for publishing relational databases on the Web. In addition to the SPARQL interface of previous versions, this release adds a "dereferencing interface" that allows HTML browsers and RDF browsers like Tabulator to navigate the content of existing non-RDF databases. The dereferencing interface provides HTTP GET access to XHTML and RDF representations of objects in the database. The generated representations are richly interlinked to enable browsers and crawlers to navigate database content. More information about D2R Server and its dereferencing interface is found on the project website: http://www.wiwiss.fu-berlin.de/suhl/bizer/d2r-server/ D2R server tries to closely follow existing Web standards and best-practices, such as Architecture of the WWW [1], Best Practice Recipes for Publishing RDF Vocabularies [2] and TAG's httpRange14 finding [3]. So if you have any suggestions how we can improve the standards conformance and usability of the server, please let us know. Cheers, Chris Bizer and Richard Cyganiak [1] http://www.w3.org/TR/webarch/ [2] http://www.w3.org/TR/swbp-vocab-pub/ [3] http://www.w3.org/2001/tag/issues.html#httpRange-14 -- Chris Bizer Freie Universität Berlin Phone: +49 30 838 54057 Mail: chris@bizer.de Web: www.bizer.de
