	       Redland RDF Application Framework 1.0.4
			 http://librdf.org/

Redland is a C library that provides a high-level interface for the
Resource Description Framework (RDF) allowing the RDF graph to be
parsed, serialized, stored, queried and manipulated. It is a mature,
and portable library that works across many POSIX systems (Unix,
GNU/Linux, BSDs, OSX, cygwin), win32 and others.

Redland implements each of the RDF concepts in its own class via an
object based API, reflected into the other language APIs - C#, Java,
Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby and Tcl provided by the Redland Bindings[1].
Many of the classes implementations for parsers and triple stores
are built as modules that can be added or removed as required.

The changes in this version are:
 * Updated to use [1]Rasqal 0.9.12 to update to SPARQL 2006-04-06 and JSON
results
 * Updated to use [2]Raptor 1.4.9 with many improvements
 * Fixes for several crashes in parsing and serializing.

Upgrading is recommended due to the crash fixes.

See the detailed 1.0.4 release notes at
  http://librdf.org/RELEASE.html#rel1_0_4
for full information on all the changes.

Redland 1.0.4 was tested as working out-of-the-box (configure; make;
make check) with the following systems:

    alphaev67-unknown-linux-gnu - Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 on Alpha
    i386-pc-solaris2.9 - Sun Solaris 9 (SunOS 5.9) on x86
    i386-unknown-linux-gnu - Redhat GNU/Linux Fedora Core 5 on x86
    i386-unknown-netbsdelf2.0.2 - NetBSD 2.0.2 on x86
    i386-unknown-openbsd3.8 - OpenBSD 3.8 on x86
    powerpc-apple-darwin8.6.0 - Apple OSX 10.4.6 on powerpc
    powerpc64-unknown-linux-gnu - SuSE Linux ES 9 on powerpc64
    sparc-sun-solaris2.9 - Sun Solaris 9 (SunOS 5.9) on sparc
    x86_64-unknown-linux-gnu - Redhat GNU/Linux Fedora Core 3 on AMD64

Redland RDF Application Framework Language Bindings 1.0.4.1
		     http://librdf.org/bindings/

Redland is a C library that provides a high-level interface for RDF
allowing the RDF graph to be parsed from XML, stored, queried and
manipulated. Redland implements each of the RDF concepts in its own
class via an object based API, reflected into language bindings in
C#, Java, Obj-C, Perl, PHP, Python, Ruby and Tcl provided by this
package.

This is the first release tracking Redland 1.0.4. The Redland C
libraries must be installed before Redland Bindings can be used. The
Redland releases can be found at http://librdf.org/

The main changes in this version are:
 * Synchronise with Redland 1.0.4
 * Some minor fixes in several bindings.

Upgrading is recommended, in order to get fixes shipped with Redland 1.0.4

See the detailed 1.0.4.1 release notes at
  http://librdf.org/bindings/RELEASE.html#rel1_0_4_1
for full information on all the changes.

Debian sid/unstable x86 debs are available for redland plus language
bindings perl, python, ruby and php4 on the download.librdf.org site now and
from the main debianarchive later. Fedora Core 5 x86 RPMs are available on
the download.librdf.org site. All downloads are also
available from the SourceForge mirror site at

The main web site lets you browse and check out the latest version of
the sources in Subversion and try out Redland in various demos.

Issues should be reported to http://bugs.librdf.org/

I post updates about Redland, Raptor and Rasqal to the redland-dev
