   MK asks that this action remain open; 

I think the original action has been done, though we are still working through the aftermath. The bug is still open, with a proposal that is ready for review and acceptance, and we need to agree the changes it proposes.

In addition the proposal leaves open the question of the "invocation table" which Abel has been working on under a separate action ACTION 2016-09-29-004, and which is the subject of item 6.2 in the agenda.
