I just noticed the following mail in the public-qt-comments list that seems to have gone unnoticed so far: https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-qt-comments/2015Oct/0115.html, which is not reported as explicit bug. In it, Addison Phillips (from W3C I18N WG) suggests to reference BCP47, since our text appears to describe the same fallback resolution for xsl:number/@lang. The original I18N issue is: https://www.w3.org/International/track/issues/400 Which gives the link to BCP47: http://tools.ietf.org/html/bcp47#section-3.3.1 Should we follow his advice?
