Even I can understand it :) So it seems sensible Little remarks * p:to-xml is a bit too generic, I prefer a p:context-node-to-xml or something like * The way you use p:to-xml indicate that option alreay travels with their context (as you are able to put it into a file), so why do you need this step ? why not only do <p:namespaces from="$match"/> in the step ? * we will need an ignore-prefixes attrbiutes on p:namespaces for exluding generic prefix (ex, my, etc...) * it is said "This example will succeed as long as the caller-specified option does not bind the "h:" prefix to an inconsistent namespace name." I'm puzzled by this assertion, in my understanding the step won`t fail if *none* of the prefixes are differently bound (including "ex" and "p" in the example) Mohamed On 8/17/07, Norman Walsh <ndw@nwalsh.com> wrote: > With two days of on-site stuff keeping me busy, I didn't make as much progress > as I hoped, but I have rewritten 5.7, especially 5.7.3 > > http://www.w3.org/XML/XProc/docs/langspec.html#opt-param-bindings > > Comments (you got it totally wrong), suggestions (can't you make it sensible), etc. > most welcome, as always. > > Be seeing you, > norm > > -- > Norman Walsh <ndw@nwalsh.com> | Those who in their youth did not live > http://nwalsh.com/ | in self-harmony, and who did not gain > | the true treasures of life, are later > | like long-legged old herons standing > | sadly by a lake without fish.--The > | Dhammapada > > -- Innovimax SARL Consulting, Training & XML Development 9, impasse des Orteaux 75020 Paris Tel : +33 9 52 475787 Fax : +33 1 4356 1746 http://www.innovimax.fr RCS Paris 488.018.631 SARL au capital de 10.000 €
