The implementation report is now very clear and informative regarding which tests are passed or failed by a given implementation. This deals very well with my first point. Turning to the second point, its not entirely clear what the pass or failure criteria are for each test http://www.w3.org/XML/2005/01/xml-id/ says what is tested but not what must be done to pass... ah, is http://www.w3.org/XML/2005/01/xml-id/test-suite.xml the documentation? Yes, I see <result> and <notes> elements which seem to document this. Its not super clear (when one is already on a page called "The xml:id test suite", following a link with the anchor text "test suite" is not an obvious thing to do to find out how to judge whether a test is passed or not) but it is documented. Therefore my second point has been dealt with. In http://www.w3.org/XML/2005/01/xml-id/ is it possible to generate it such that the notes field is also included? -- Chris Lilley mailto:chris@w3.org Chair, W3C SVG Working Group W3C Graphics Activity Lead
