Planned upcoming transition: XInclude 1.1 to Last Call Working Draft

The XML Core WG plans to issue (another) Last Call for
    XML Inclusions (XInclude) Version 1.1
presently available at
http://www.w3.org/XML/2014/12/xinclude-11

A version with color-coded revision indicators comparing this
draft to the XInclude 1.0 Recommendation is available at
http://www.w3.org/XML/2014/12/xinclude-11/diff10.html
and a version with color-coded revision indicators comparing
this draft to the last XInclude 1.1 CR is available at
http://www.w3.org/XML/2014/12/xinclude-11/diff11.html

This is a Last Call publication of this document.

The previous publication was a Candidate Recommendation at
http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/CR-xinclude-11-20131008/
As the WG took into account comments and feedback, we decided to
revise how attributes in the xml: namespace are handled, hence we are
going back to a Last Call. If we have enough implementation experience
with the new features in this Last Call, we will make transition
directly to Proposed Recommendation next.

There are no Working Groups with dependencies on this document,
although review from any WG would be welcome.

Provided webreq accepts our proposed schedule, we
plan to start the Last Call period 16 December 2014 and
end it 17 January 2015.

The WG's decision to request transition to Last Call was taken
during a WG telcon on December 10 whose minutes may be found at
http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-xml-core-wg/2014Dec/0007
There were no objections to the publication of this draft.

Paul Grosso and Norman Walsh, chairs of the XML Core WG.
