I tried to send the transition request for XInclude, but I realized there are too many things about the top of the document at http://www.w3.org/XML/2006/04/XInclude/REC-xinclude-20060423.html that need fixing before I can do that. 1. The status has to be changed to PER. The date should be changed to 21 September 2006. 2. The URL for the HTML has to have PER not REC in it; I suggest http://www.w3.org/XML/2006/09/PER-xinclude-20060921/Overview.html http://www.w3.org/XML/2006/09/PER-xinclude-20060921/PER-xinclude-2006092 1-review.html http://www.w3.org/XML/2006/09/PER-xinclude-20060921/PER-xinclude-2006092 1.xml 3. The errata link needs to be to a new document for 2nd Ed errata. 4. The status section needs to be replaced with what I suggest below in my draft transition request except change "13 October" to "31 October". Daniel, when do you think you'll be able to have this done? Henry, do you think it's time to start trying to schedule a PER call for sometime next week? paul > -----Original Message----- > From: public-xml-core-wg-request@w3.org > [mailto:public-xml-core-wg-request@w3.org] On Behalf Of Grosso, Paul > Sent: Wednesday, 2006 August 23 12:28 > To: public-xml-core-wg@w3.org > Subject: Draft #2 Transition Request: PER Request for > XInclude 1.0 Second Edition > > > > > Here is my updated draft PER requestion for XInclude 1.0 2nd Ed. > > paul > > --------- > > Eventually-to: timbl@w3.org; steve@w3.org > Eventually-cc: public-xml-core-wg@w3.org; webreq@w3.org; > chairs@w3.org; > w3t-comm@w3.org > > The XML Core WG requests publication of > XML Inclusions (XInclude) Version 1.0 (Second Edition) > available at > http://www.w3.org/XML/2006/04/XInclude/REC-xinclude-20060423.html @@@ > as a Proposed Edited Recommendation (PER). > > The URL cited above is for the most recent Member-only > version of the specification as of DD MMM 2006 but @@@ > dated DD MMM 2006 in anticipation of publication then. @@@ > > That file is set up to be published by moving it to > http://www.w3.org/TR/2006/REC-xinclude-20060424/Overview.html @@@ > > The XInclude 1.0 First Edition was published on 20 December 2004 > at http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/REC-xinclude-20041220/ > as a Recommendation.
