The XML Core WG doesn't develop or suggest naming conventions for XML names. Different W3C specifications have developed different conventions (as you have noticed). I don't believe the XML Core WG has any useful input to this issue (though individual WG members are free to express personal opinions on this). paul > -----Original Message----- > From: public-xml-core-wg-request@w3.org > [mailto:public-xml-core-wg-request@w3.org] On Behalf Of José > Manuel Cantera Fonseca > Sent: Monday, 2006 November 20 03:52 > To: public-xml-core-wg@w3.org > Subject: XML elements and attributes naming conventions > > > Dear XML WG members, > > My name is Jose Cantera.
