XML elements and attributes naming conventions

Dear XML WG members,

My name is Jose Cantera. I'm with Telefonica and I'm participating in 
the WAF WG and the DDWG (MWI).

I'm writing to this list because I'm not sure is there a very 
well-established naming convention for XML-based languages. Even in the 
W3C space there are different approaches such as XSLT language which 
follows a naming convention of all in lower case and use a dash for 
combining words and SVG which follows an hungarian convention.

Could you help me?
