ARIA role attribute processing is different from the processing  
outlined for the role attribute discussed in http://www.w3.org/TR/2007/WD-xhtml-role-20071004/ 
  . Therefore, it would be inappropriate to reference the document  
normatively while it is appropriate to note it as a source of  
inspiration.
