As per my action item from last week, the XHTML 2 Working Group today discussed the issue of expanding the attributes permitted on the root element. The group agreed that it was fine for the RDFa attributes to be used on the "html" element. I have updated the implementation and uploaded a new version to the w3c server at http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/DTD/xhtml-rdfa-1.dtd. This change will be reflected in the next Editor's Draft when that is published. Thanks for your patience while this issue was sorted out. -- Shane P.
