[URW3 public] Uncertainty discussion: philosophical or concentrate on Web specific and/or Web related issues

Dear colleagues,
I would like to ask you to focus (or emphasize) in our
discussion on Web related and/or Web specific issues of uncertainty (or
at least to point to it). Philosophical discussions are good, now we
need contributions to our XG.
Especially those connected with machine processable issues and
(see our charter) those which help replace proprietary uncertainty web
solutions with solutions based on standards are important.
There are many problems with uncertainty which are hard even for
humans and even on your personal computer. What is Semantic web
relevant/specific - we have to convince W3C that uncertainty is a issue
to be considered in future actions too.
One way to this can be to consider uncertainty issues in an
integrated process (use case) from the Web to the user (agent, service).
Maybe we can start even with one specific type - do not try the
problems of the whole world, lets try to solve one.
      Peter
