Discussion on work packages

Hi all,

The discussion I was trying to initiate at our last telephone meeting was on the current work packages. The idea is to agree on them (at least to some extend), and then have members of the group raise their hand as to which packet they want to contribute.

The first part is more like"work is being done, now we need the input of the community to make it really good"...

 1. semantic sensor network ontology
Obviously, Michael and I have taken the first step here. John and Oscar have expressed their interest to contribute so far...

 1. semantic sensor mark-up languages
This certainly is Amit's and Cory's terrain. But it wouldn't probably do harm if they got some assistance...

 1. integration sensor network ontology - sensor mark-up languages
Maybe it's even that close related to item 2 that it's actually one work package...

The second bit is rather "this is important but apparently currently neglected"

 1. use cases + requirements document
No one so far - Someone needs to drive this and then compile the use cases in a requirement document that then can be agreed on.

I think the things to concentrate on for the moment are the ontology the mark-up and keep and eye on them working together. But the use cases are quite important, too, mostly as prerequisite for some sort of requirement document.

So, I invite you to discuss this, select your bit to contribute to, and maybe even identify a suitable member of the group (maybe yourself) to drive the use cases. If you see more tasks, please do not hesitate to add them...

Cheers,
Holger
