Hello All, Confused.com, a UK insurance comparison site, announced that they will start charging people a premium on their home insurance if they make use of geolocation features in social networking sites : http://www.walesonline.co.uk/business-in-wales/business-news/2010/09/15/comparison-site-warns-of-insurance-hikes-for-social-networking-users-91466-27268180/ This is simply hilarious, and I guess inspired by the "please rob me" services which have been popping up around the web ... Happy insurance shopping, my social network savy friends :) Mischa ___________________________________ Mischa Tuffield PhD Email: mischa.tuffield@garlik.com Homepage - http://mmt.me.uk/ Garlik Limited, 1-3 Halford Road, Richmond, TW10 6AW +44(0)845 645 2824 http://www.garlik.com/ Registered in England and Wales 535 7233 VAT # 849 0517 11 Registered office: Thames House, Portsmouth Road, Esher, Surrey, KT10 9AD
