So, what we'll do this telecon is try to do bureacracy 1) very quickly and then 2) talk about high-level principles for 20-30 minutes and 3) then talk about Payswarm for 30 minutes. So, ideally, lets keep the Payswarm presentation to about 15-20 minutes. Payswarm is definitely one of the more interesting and innovative micropayment systems I've seen out there, so I'd definitely give the docs your time if you can. I imagine the call will go over, but we have a lot to do :) cheers, harry On Mon, Feb 8, 2010 at 3:39 PM, Manu Sporny <msporny@digitalbazaar.com> wrote: > Hi all, > > Harry has kindly asked us to speak about the PaySwarm standardization > work at the next Social Web XG telecon, this Wednesday at 4pm UTC. > Here's a quick introduction and follow-up material: > > What is PaySwarm? > > The Payswarm web platform is an open standard that enables web browsers > and web devices to perform micropayments and copyright-aware, > peer-to-peer digital media distribution. > > What does PaySwarm do? > > Payswarm enables people that create digital content to distribute it > through the Web and receive payment directly from their fans and > customers.
