Hello, first of all, I will not be able to attend the Telecon, as I'm in Koln for some meetings (there's the IST proposals day, see [1]). > 4.2 Music Use case: (Oscar) > > ACTION: Paola to provide a possible B2B scenario [recorded in > http://www.w3.org/2006/12/08-mmsem-minutes.html#action02] > ACTION: Oscar to provide a first implementation of the Music use > case [recorded in > http://www.w3.org/2006/12/08-mmsem-minutes.html#action01] Moreover, I'd like to briefly mention the work we have been doing during January. Mainly, it is the integration of Foafing the Music RDF data into the /facet semantic browser (see [2] for a nice demo!). This demo shows how easily is to integrate music metadata from different sources, and navigate through it, based on several aspects described in the ontology (such as basic editorial metadata of both songs and artists, as well as some meaningful music descriptors extracted automatically from the audio file). Credits goes to the MultimediaN E-Culture CWI team, and especially Michiel Hildebrand [3]. All in all, I would say then, that the action http://www.w3.org/2006/12/08-mmsem-minutes.html#action02 is finished. Next planned step is to implement the ID3 to RDF converter (more news soon... :-) ) All the best, Oscar Celma.
