Hi everyone, I am Nicolas Delaforge from INRIA Sophia Antipolis (French National Institute for Computer Science and Control), working for the Edelweiss team for 1 year. During my PhD I was involved in the french web archiving project in the National Institute for Audiovisual. In this context, I proposed a documentation model for collected websites and I have developed an archive browser as well. I am currently working as lead engineer on a semantic software for business intelligence ( ISICIL project, http://isicil.inria.fr/, english version coming soon ;-) ). This platform make an extensive use of RDF data and lightweight ontologies (SIOC, SKOS, FOAF). We are trying to connect data from corporate libraries with web 2.0 practices, folksonomies, social networks. First, I am very glad to participate to this group and I hope my experience can be helpful. My wish is to bring thesaurus and other formal vocabularies out of the walls of the library and to imagine new applications that use it as a reference point of view. Cheers, Nicolas
