Hi Everyone, My name is Adrian Thurston. I've been interested in the problem of federated social networks since late 2007. At the time I sketched a protocol and began development. Since that initial fury of hope and hacking I've been working on the problem in an on-again off-again manner. Last November I resolved to see my effort through. I am currently working hard to produce something useful to others. My project page is: http://www.complang.org/dsnp/ I don't have much experience in the Web communities, though I have been doing open source for quite a while. I'm probably best known for a parser generator called Ragel. In my day job I work in network security writing tools that analyze network traffic. I'm looking forward to contributing as best I can! Regards, Adrian -- Dr. Adrian D. Thurston http://www.complang.org/thurston/
