I'd agree - the W3 use case discussion has been pretty fruitful, and helps us flesh out the conceptual model as per our Washington DC F2F discussion where we kicked this one off. Personally I'd like to see the interop Sahana/OCHA W3 discussion proceed - by getting into it we'll surface issues that belong in the incubator's conceptual model. For instance - I like the idea of building a FeedSync interop between the systems, and having to go through the issues of authentication, security, conflict resolution, data merge/review/accept changes etc. There are other options as well we could explore. I was under the impression that W3 was one of the use cases that this group had on its agenda, and that Mandada had agreed to work on analysis of W3 Use Case and OCHA Schema (http://www.w3.org/2005/Incubator/eiif/wiki/2008-07-17). Since the remit of this group is to investigate the path forward via an emergency management systems information interoperability framework, I would have thought that looking at the interoperability between these two systems - both of which are in use in the field - would be quite useful. cheers Paul C
