I turned up the sample rate to 96000 Hz and the audio stops outputting in webkit audio. But as soon as I change it to 44.1 khz, it plays like as if there wasn't ever a problem to begin with. Are the sample rate configurations in webkit's web audio implementation hardcoded? It seems like webkit's web audio implementation only likes specific sample rate set in the hardware. I've heard 44.1 and 22.5 khz or so thrown around, but web audio *should not* rely on these numbers for sure, because hardware (especially windows-based) can be completely arbitrary on this point.
