"When a recalculate event begins, there will be a list L of one or more  
instance nodes whose values may have been changed"
...
"All nodes in L, if any, and nodes that are computationally dependent on  
nodes in L must be recalculated."

If L is "one or more" nodes then the "if any" in the second sentence is  
redundant. If the "if any" is right, then L should be "zero or more".
