We won't have a conference call this Wednesday. Given that, last week, we took care of the final pieces of review, the main thing that's between us and deciding on moving to Candidate Recommendation are the exit criteria. The background in the Process document is here: http://www.w3.org/2005/10/Process-20051014/tr.html#cfi http://www.w3.org/2005/10/Process-20051014/tr.html#cfr Basically, to *exit* from CR, we must show: > that each feature of the technical report has been implemented. > Preferably, the Working Group should be able to demonstrate two > interoperable implementations of each feature and: > Satisfied any other announced entrance criteria (e.g., any included > in the request to advance to Candidate Recommendation, or announced > at Last Call if the Working Group does not intend to issue a Call > for Implementations). In other words, we need to articulate clearly how much implementation support we are planning to deliver at a minimum, and should ideally have a clear indication of expected implementation support. Thanks, -- Thomas Roessler, W3C <tlr@w3.org>
