   <jvkrey> [7]http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/Group/cheatsheet#Scribing

   <Mez> ScribeNick: bill-d

   mez: agenda, scribe bill

   <Mez> [8]http://www.w3.org/2008/07/09-wsc-minutes.html

   mez: minutes approved

   <Mez> [9]http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/track/actions/open

mez: open actions, no issues known at this time
   ... agenda bashing
... one item on agenda entry exit planning
... mez not available next week going to SOUPS
   ... thomas chair next meeting

   <Mez>
   [10]http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-wsc-wg/2008Jul/0008.html

mez: talk about recomendation entry / exit planning

   <Mez> [11]http://www.w3.org/TR/2008/CR-WCAG20-20080430/

mez: first link has exit criteria to make it to canadate recomendation

   <anil> gm Mez

mez: first thing is to make it to last call - thomas as editor is
   working on, get through comments
... and work group does not get set back to earlier state
... has anyone been on a W3C WG that got to canadate recomendation
   ... does not appear so
... canadate recomendation is a newer process to ensure that
   implementation occured
... need to determine number of conforming examples, minimum # to meet
   conformance is 2

   <Mez> [12]http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/FeaturesAtRisk

mez: went through opera and firefox examples, table has been put
together to map features back to WSC examples
... firefox representation not available today, but has been expressed
as not a problem to fill out, opera expressed that it should be ok also
... table for tracking plans conforming plans will have colors
associated with various cell entry types

   <tlr> (wrong wg)

mez: no further comments, WG has basic and advanced conformance levels
... should be in line but WG has not had discussion yet
... user agent implement or believe implement must and must not and
should and should not. agree that two conforming examples for those
levels. and flag featurs that are at rist to not comply
... the W3C process requires at least two conforming levels
... tyler asking question to determine if examples conform and if text
of document can be modified to ensure conformance is met
... section on pet names is supported by firefox and add ons, opera
does not have add ons and IE is difficult
... in oslo really cranked on add-ons, the whole user agent must
   conform.

tyler: IE and petname add-on is not clear

mez: way to claim conformance with add-on, is to add to base agent that
   is in conformance
... outreach to topic on web site best practices and may be good time
to discuss with microsoft IE 8 study

ifette: advances conformance with shoulds question if wg have two
   advanced

mez: have two that conform to spec because logotypes are not
implimented, but they don't exercise features in the spec. products
conform but do not exercise features if features implemented
... back to exit criteria for basic and advanced conformance, does the
WG have other requests in terms of conformance

ifette: feels that it is a good level to shoot for - agreement

mez: success criteria, support documentation question, looking to raise
questions about requirements. question comes up about test procedures

<Mez> ACTION: mez to get tlr to help us figure out what form a test
   procedure takes [recorded in
   [13]http://www.w3.org/2008/07/16-wsc-minutes.html#action01]

<trackbot> Created ACTION-495 - Get tlr to help us figure out what form
a test procedure takes [on Mary Ellen Zurko - due 2008-07-23].

mez: test procedures touches on topic in terms of testing documentation
and test procedures. Mez takes action item to look into test procedures
   and documetation needed
... since some of the recomendations require interpretation, test
   procedures are TBD
... exit critera includes mapping to conforming levels, test procedues
and formal resoponse to questions generated
... not part of exit critera, calling out items at risk
... what if we don't have two examples - what if anything we want to
say about must, shoulds and may
... some of the musts and shoulds are to help support IA, e.g. if you
implement x (poor IA) please do y
... tasking to discuss any features that are at risk
... double check that phil did not have experience in current W3C exit
   tasking

   <Mez> [14]http://www.w3.org/2006/06/mwbp-implementation-report-template

mez: link to table in use by another WG to work towards exit tasking
... table has pass, fail, partial and not applicable. partial
compliance for doing some but not all in terms of conformance
... nice to have template when testing to help track
... two actions - opera and firefox to fill out table in terms of
features at risk. opera vacation schedules impacting deliverable due
   date

<Mez> ACTION: jvkrey to fill out the Opera column in our features at
   risk table [recorded in

<trackbot> Created ACTION-498 - Write up plan for gettign to CR entry
[on Mary Ellen Zurko - due 2008-07-23].

mez: feel that we came up with a plan that will be written up
... summer meetings could be pretty short until WG really starts to
work through features at risk and get into testing
   ... wrap up - complete
