[7]FPWD for wsc-xit * [8]Summary of Action Items __________________________________________________________________ Agenda mez: minutes from Sept 19th and Sept 26th are approved ... newly completed action items <tyler> I did ACTION-300 Monday Mez: open action items, a lot of past due date... please take care of it pronto ... no closed items due to inactivity Mez: next agenda item: agenda bashing <ifette> I want to agenda bash... says 9) next meeting is 9/17... this seems wrong. <Zakim> Thomas, you wanted to ask about last call for wsc-usecases <Zakim> ifette, you wanted to agenda bash <tlr> ... you mean in 11 months ... <Mez> [9]http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/SafeWebFormEditor Mez: discussion of the SafeWebFormEditor conformance language ... Tyler, step through the text? yngve: I see "click here" referred to a few different places in the text. How does that map to accessible browsers? tyler: trying to dodge the issue <tlr> I'd suggest to remove the "click here" phrase and say "the message should communicate the interaction blah blha" tlr: for the "click here" language, suggest changing it to describe the interaction that should occur... rather abstract it somewhat ... Happy to propose new language, but would rather wait for tyler to review it hal: need to consider all sort of interfaces in a generic way <tlr> +1 to hal ifette: In section where it says auto completion must not occur. Is this confusing on devices such as mobiles with predictive text? <tlr> "based on stored previous data entries" tyler: It is tricky to phrase, but should not use the personal bar strings <tlr> hal, ISSUE-118 is created to capture your vocabulary point <yngve> Suggest "auto-completion for text strings" changed to "auto-completion for registered text strings" <tlr> should be: "presents a certificate chain that cannot be matched" instead of "does not present a certificate chain that can be matched" ifette: another edge case; for mitm. Consider a 403 or 501, or connection error. No cert info. Do we need to worry about it? <tlr> tlr: for the record, I have some deeper issues with this, but don't want to raise them now in the interest of getting FPWD out Mez: this is adequate review for the first public working draft. Editors please fold this in. <Mez> I'm sorry, say again where we're looking? tyler: section "spoofing the editor bar", middle paragraph ... very graphical user agent specific tlr: suggest scoping this to target graphical user agents Mez: happy to wrap this for the FPWD wsc-usecases <tlr> PROPOSED: To take wsc-usecases to Last Call <tlr> (sounds like editorial fix for later ;-) <tlr> RESOLUTION: to take wsc-usecases to last call FPWD for wsc-xit <tlr> pronounce it "whisk-it" <tyler> ifette, Are you sure you want the use-case classified as Installing, since in arguing for the use case you seemed to think it was important to be clear that the user didn't have an opportunity to make a decision? <ifette> Tyler, The Vicki use case is listed as installing, even though in that use case the user didn't have an opportunity to make a decision. I'm not sure where the two should be, I just think the two should be "near" each other... <tyler> It isn't clear to me that the Vicki use-case assumes the user isn't presented with an installation dialog <tlr> tlr: propose that MEZ reviews editor's draft after I've made changes; Tyler to review editor bar changes <tlr> silence <tlr> PROPOSED: to request publication of wsc-xit as FPWD once MEZ has reviewed & agreed recent changes, Tyler has reviewed & agree editor bar changes <tlr> RESOLUTION: to request publication of wsc-xit as FPWD once MEZ has reviewed & agreed recent changes, Tyler has reviewed & agree editor bar changes Mez: that was all on the agenda. tlr: telephone access to the technical plenary? ... please register for the meeting Mez: items for the f2f agenda? ... next meeting is Oct 17. tlr is chair <tlr> [10]http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/39814/tpac-dialin/ Summary of Action Items [End of minutes] __________________________________________________________________ Minutes formatted by David Booth's [11]scribe.perl version 1.128 ([12]CVS log) $Date: 2007/10/25 09:32:04 $ References 1. http://www.w3.org/ 2. http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-wsc-wg/2007Oct/0037.html 3. http://www.w3.org/2007/10/10-wsc-irc 4. file://localhost/home/roessler/W3C/WWW/2007/10/10-wsc-minutes.html#agenda 5. file://localhost/home/roessler/W3C/WWW/2007/10/10-wsc-minutes.html#item01 6. file://localhost/home/roessler/W3C/WWW/2007/10/10-wsc-minutes.html#item02 7. file://localhost/home/roessler/W3C/WWW/2007/10/10-wsc-minutes.html#item03 8. file://localhost/home/roessler/W3C/WWW/2007/10/10-wsc-minutes.html#ActionSummary 9. http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/SafeWebFormEditor 10. http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/39814/tpac-dialin/ 11. http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/~checkout~/2002/scribe/scribedoc.htm 12. http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/2002/scribe/ -- Thomas Roessler, W3C <tlr@w3.org>
