I like my text better. It gets across my concerns, and the concerns raised by a number of wg members, which I hate to ignore and prefer to respect. I know you usually have your reasons. Can you share them? If it really just seems too long, I suggest that's not a strong enough reason to water it down, given the discussion at the f2f. I'd suggest to just say "Please refer to the following entries in the Working Group's Wiki for relevant background information". > > Mapping: > > > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/RecommendationDisplayProposals/FavIcon > into > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/drafts/rec/rewrite.html#site-identifying > > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/RecommendationDisplayProposals/CertErr > into > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/drafts/rec/rewrite.html#error-handling > > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/SafeWebBrowsingTemplate > into > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/drafts/rec/rewrite.html#usage-sbm > > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/PersonallyIdentifiableInformationEditorBar > into > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/drafts/rec/rewrite.html#ceremonies That one is stale by now; instead, linking to SafeWebFormEditor. > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/RecommendationDisplayProposals/EVCerts > into > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/drafts/rec/rewrite.html#sect-evcerts > > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/RecommendationDisplayProposals/Letterhead > into > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/drafts/rec/rewrite.html#sec-logotypes > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/drafts/rec/rewrite.html#signal-content > > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/RecommendationDisplayProposals/BrowserLockDown > into > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/drafts/rec/rewrite.html#usage-framework > > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/RecommendationDisplayProposals/PageScore > into > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/drafts/rec/rewrite.html#pageinfosummary > [remember to integrate the results of ACTION-307 there.] > > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/IdentitySignal > into > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/drafts/rec/rewrite.html#IdentitySignal > > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/WhatIsASecurePage > into > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/drafts/rec/rewrite.html#tlsforweb > > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/PageInfoSummary > into > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/drafts/rec/rewrite.html#pageinfosummary > > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/RecommendationDisplayProposals/NoSecurityIndicator > into > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/drafts/rec/rewrite.html#sec-nointeraction > > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/wiki/RobustSharedSecret > into > http://www.w3.org/2006/WSC/drafts/rec/rewrite.html#robustness-trustedpath That one is referenced anyway.
