I think this issue was addressed when I did the rework of section 7 in response to TLR's comments. The relevant passage now says: """ MIME type The reported MIME type, along with other information the user agent may collect, such as filename extension, affect what user agent features are triggered by the receipt of web content. """ This text seems to cover the suggested text for ISSUE-76, so I'm closing this issue.
