I agree. To the degree that's actually possible. But to get back to the specific discussion that started this thread: I wouldn't personally consider Opera's mechanism (or any similar mechanism) of providing a range of security indicators instead of just a simple boolean indicator to be cruft or to be inelegant. An analogy that comes mind is the difference in automobile dashboard design between providing real gauges or instead just providing simple either-completly-on-or-completely-off "idiot lights". --Mike
