Done, as of
<h2 id="w3c-doctype">Editors' Copy $Date: 2006/10/02 16:10:15 $</h2>

All editors, I find recording WG decisions and talking about documents
in general is easier when they have evident version numbers (rather
than dates). We were somehow ambitious about using CVS keywords in
SPARQL:
  in the <head/>:
  <meta name="RCS-Id" content="$Id: rq24.html,v 1.36 2006/09/20 10:50:27 eric Exp $" />

  in top <dl/>:
  <dd><span class="cvs-id">$Revision: 1.36 $ of $Date: 2006/09/20 10:50:27 $</span></dd>

  and at the bottom of the document:
    <p>Raw CVS log:</p>
    <pre>
$Log: rq24.html,v $
Revision 1.36  2006/09/20 10:50:27  eric
- Pending issues summary per <a href="http://www.w3.org/mid/02B948FF-64DF-433A-B46A-839CBB83A138@cs.man.ac.uk">Bijan's<a/> and <a href="http://www.w3.org/mid/CB15ADFC-DB4E-49F6-858E-A4E0DCDB7BAB@monkeyfist.com">Kendall's</a> requests
    ...
    </pre>

The log records all your cvs commit messages. I don't think you get to
make them if you use amaya. If you want to try this stuff, I can stick
it in the documents and then remove them if they don't prove popular.
