http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=8177 Summary: Transfer: intro is a bit off w.r.t. create Product: WS-Resource Access Version: FPWD Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows XP Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Transfer AssignedTo: public-ws-resource-access-notifications@w3.org ReportedBy: dug@us.ibm.com QAContact: public-ws-resource-access-notifications@w3.org Intro says defines two entities, the 2nd one (bullet) says: Resource factories, which are Web services that can create a new resource from an XML representation this is a bit wrong since it implies that the XML on the create is just the XML representation when it could be an instruction. It could confuse people. Proposal: change it to: Resource factories, which are Web services that can create a new resource basically, just delete "from an XML representation". This aligns it with the definition of Resource Factory in section 2.1 too. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
