Title - Remove misleading phrasing of section 1.1 Goals section
concerning the first goal

 

Description - 

 

Rework the following statement to be less misleading about what the
framework specification actually specifies.

Specifically, this specification defines the following:

*         An XML Infoset called a policy expression that contains
domain-specific, Web Service policy information.

 

Justification - 

 

This specification does not define those parts of a policy expression
that contain domain-specific Web Service policy information. It does not
define the full XML Infoset because it does not define policy assertions
themselves (just where they can be inserted)

Proposal - 

 

Something like:

Specifically, this framework specification defines the following:

*         An XML Infoset structure for the containers (called, policy
expressions) of Web Service policy assertions and associated
information. [The assertions themselves are elsewhere specified by
domain-specific policy specifications that make use of this framework.]
