It's a pleasure Scott! No, nothing needs to be done. Just write on the board wpd.mx/amsterdam and it doesn't matter if the person has an account or not and even if he register afterwards or not. I just tested myself; everything follows nicely. What has to be done though is to update the Wiki page at [0] to have relevant information specific to the event. Your other questions, inline below. Please note that if you have attendees who uses things such as Ghostery and uses a heavy hosts file to prevent tracking that you should keep their usernames.
