CfC: Call for resolution to publish an updated Working Draft of WoT Profiles

Dear WoT Working Group,

Following on from the discussion
<https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/public-wot-wg/2025Jul/0024.html>
around publication of WoT Profiles as a Group Note, I would like to propose
the following resolution to be discussed in the Main call next week (10th
September):

*The WoT Working Group agrees to publish the current Editor's Draft of Web
of Things (WoT) Profiles as an updated Working Draft.*

As per the Working Group's decision policy
<https://www.w3.org/2023/10/wot-wg-2023.html#decisions>, if there are no
objections to this resolution within five working days (i.e. by the next
Main call) then the Working Group may choose to adopt this resolution with
immediate effect, so that the publication process may begin.

Please take this opportunity to carry out a review of the document and
raise any questions or concerns you may have as issues
<https://github.com/w3c/wot-profile/issues>, or by responding to this email.
