Dear WoT Working Group, Over the last month or so the Profiles Task Force have been discussing and collecting an initial set of use cases & requirements for the proposed WoT Profiles 2.0 specification. You can see the latest Editor's Draft of the WoT Profiles 2.0 Use Cases & Requirements document here <https://w3c.github.io/wot-profile/requirements/>. Thank you very much for everyone's contributions so far. I think we now have a good starting point, but there is still lots of work to do to add use cases from additional application domains, flesh out the requirements and arrive at a consensus on certain open issues <https://github.com/w3c/wot-profile/issues?q=is%3Aissue%20state%3Aopen%20label%3Arequirement%2C%22use%20case%22%20label%3AProfile-2.0> . Due to funding constraints the Profiles call next week may be the last one I am able to moderate for a while, which may leave the Profiles Task Force without an active moderator for some time. I would therefore like to put forward a resolution to publish our work so far as a Note Draft <https://www.w3.org/policies/process/#note-draft>. Not as a final document, but just a first draft showing what we have discussed so far, which can later be picked up and refined further. *Proposal: The WoT Working Group agrees to publish the latest Editor's Draft the WoT Profiles 2.0 Use Cases & Requirements document at https://w3c.github.io/wot-profile/requirements <https://w3c.github.io/wot-profile/requirements> as a Note Draft.* It would be great if we could discuss this resolution in the Main WoT call next week. Kind regards Ben -- Ben Francis Co-moderator, Profiles Task Force W3C Web of Things Working Group
