   McCool: there is IETF VPN available. We need to check if there
   is a need for it
   … it fixes the cases where people don't want to setup security

   Koster: There, many people said that they have public facing
   IPs and
   … does not have much need for it

   McCool: we have some cases that really need it, like
   broadcasting etc.

   Sebastian: We have confirmation from OPC foundation for the
   joint work
   … we need confirmation from W3C
   … also no need to be part of OPC foundation

   Sebastian: the standard will be also public

   Sebastian: there will be also a guarantee that new versions
   will be kept up[to date

   Kaz: there should be a small proposal document on why this
   joint work needed

   McCool: we discussed with ITU-T on January 26th

   Lagally: in arch call of 2 weeks ago where we came almost with
   the complete definition

   McCool: there was discussion the term hub

   Ege: can we name it a gateway

   McCool: well it can mean different things

   about a possible central manager instead of distributed
   peer-to-peer connection.]

   Koster: hub or bridge seems to be the most common terms

   Kaz: note that we're still asking the animator to put the
   closed captions. also we can finalize the other possible
   accessibility issues during the APA joint call right after this
   call.
