  Status Animation video

   Sebastian: We are almost ready
… clarifying payment and caption file
… animator asked for the kind of format?

Kaz: They can provide the captions using WebVTT.

   <kaz> [11]WebVTT spec

     [11] https://w3c.github.io/webvtt/#introduction-caption

Sebastian: Is the above the link for WebVTT? Can we respond
   that to the animator?

   Kaz: Yes

Sebastian: ok, will let him know
   … next steps?
… putting it on W3C space

   Coralie: Several steps
   … hosting video
… Dom is aware of it
… for promotion: we could put it on the homepage of the WoT
… wrote email. Did not get any reply
… another way to promote could be writing a W3C blog post
… we would also do a W3C homepage news, and we can tweet
… w3c developers relation team can tweet also

Sebastian: w.r.t. to video DP made draft proposal

   <kaz> [12]WoT Landing page

     [12] https://www.w3.org/WoT/

Sebastian: Video on W3C landing page also?

   Coralie: Can take a look
… once marketing repo is ready we can update forward

<kaz> [expected URL forwarding from [13]https://www.w3.org/WoT/
   to [14]https://w3c.github.io/wot-marketing/ ]

     [14] https://w3c.github.io/wot-marketing/

Sebastian: Forwarded email... he will have a look

   Daniel: +1

   Sebastian: +1

Kaz: BTW, Josh confirmed from accessibility point of view that
   there were no further issues

  PR 110

   <kaz> [15]PR 110 - rename "getting started" to "documentation"

     [15] https://github.com/w3c/wot-marketing/pull/110

Sebastian: Any issue with PR 110

<Zakim> koalie, you wanted to ask for a volunteer to write a
W3C blog post (if there's interest)

   Coralie: Blog post. Any volunteer?

   <koalie> [16]https://www.w3.org/blog/

     [16] https://www.w3.org/blog/

<koalie> W3C Chairs can log in via [17]https://www.w3.org/blog/
   wp-admin/

     [17] https://www.w3.org/blog/wp-admin/

Sebastian: Sure.. let's start with a first proposal

Coralie: I can review it also

   Sebastian: DP starting with proposal?

Daniel: Can make a first proposal

   <kaz> (PR 110 merged)

  PR 108, Ege

   <kaz> [18]PR 108 - Improve PF and F2F descriptions

     [18] https://github.com/w3c/wot-marketing/pull/108

Daniel: Ege would like to mention how often F2Fs and PlugFest
   take place

Sebastian: Let's wait for Ege to respond

  Web page

   <kaz> [19]WoT Welcome page

     [19] https://w3c.github.io/wot-marketing/

Sebastian: Should try to integrate tutorials from Ege

   Daniel: removing intro pages?

Sebastian: Maybe they can be removed the initial logistics
   pages
… let's ping Ege so that he can check back
   … let's create issue

Sebastian: Will ask Ege for a proposal

  Wikipedia

   [20]Wikipedia article draft

     [20] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Thing_Description

Sebastian: There exists a draft for TD
… Ege did first draft, 2 month ago
   … it was always rejected
   … Philipp Blum helped also
   … still rejected
… currently it is under review again
… hope it will work out. Not sure what we can do else?
… CM, do you have any advice?

Coralie: My own experience is similar. Our contributions are
   rejected also very often.
… we have to find "friendly" people out-side the group to make
   the proposal
   … very strange

Sebastian: On W3C wikipedia page we need a backlink also

Coralie: Once the TD page is approved this will not be that
   controversial. I hope.

   Sebastian: let's wait for feedback

  Add media proposal

   [21]PR 101 - Add media proposal

     [21] https://github.com/w3c/wot-marketing/pull/101

Sebastian: Philipp Blum started a document to make people aware
   of WoT
   … media, website, ...
… Philipp wanted to give some kind of guidelines/help w.t.r
… no objection w.r.t. this PR
… however Philipp is not a member/invited expert

Kaz: Editorial enhancement.. no change to normative part
… hence we can have a look and accept

Sebastian: Yes, just some proposal material

Kaz: No big concern to merge this PR 101 itself since
wot-marketing is a repository for the WoT IG and doesn't
include normative specs. However, wondering who would continue
   to work on this direction?
… invite him as an invited expert?

   Sebastian: Makes sense
… works on RIOT, real time operating system

Kaz: Let's talk about the detail during the WoT Chairs call
   tomorrow.
… approving PR seems ok to me
