Meeting minutes

  Prev minutes

   <kaz> [8]Feb-22

      [8] https://www.w3.org/2021/02/22-wot-discovery-minutes.html

meeting starts reviewing meetings from last call

probably, some topics should be discussed today as well:
   pagination, answering payloads, etc.

McCool: geolocation will be proposed next year, since it
generates a lot of troubles with security

McCool: ...we would need an expert on geolocation to work on
   this more specifically

Kaz: maybe it make sense to think about geolocation UC in the
   upcoming workshop

McCool: let's discuss first this in the main call

since no objections are presented the previous minutes get
   published

  Agenda updates

McCool adds the geolocation topic to the agenda

Andrea: can people join F2F as guest?

McCool: email me and let's see how to invite a guest

now meeting moves to the logistics for F2F

discovery calls will be cancelled, 15th and 22nd

mccool, reviews the agenda of the F2F

   <McCool> [9]vF2F wiki - March 17

      [9] https://www.w3.org/WoT/IG/wiki/F2F_meeting,_March_2021#Wednesday_March_17

McCool: maybe in the Directory section some related topic could
be added to squeeze things up

McCool: try to have your presentations for next week, so we can
   review them

mccool shows the template to be used for the slides

  PR 123

McCool: let's move on to the PR

   <kaz> [10]PR 123 - Editorial fix: TDD and TTL note/

     [10] https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/pull/123

   first PR is reviewed

McCool: ...we do not have ttl currently in the discovery

farshid fixes a few things from the PR, in the meanwhile we
   move to the other PR

  PR 124

   [11]Registration spec: listing #124

     [11] https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/pull/124

   <kaz> [12]Preview diff

     [12] https://pr-preview.s3.amazonaws.com/w3c/wot-discovery/124/d2edad7...farshidtz:e6f18dd.html#exploration-directory-api-registration-listing

it's been discussed the listing endpoint of the directory

farshid's PR defines the data model for such listing

Christian: it's ok to use the keyword items? it exists in TD
   model

Farshid: we could use others like entries

Christian: are TDs inside items enriched?

Farshid: ...it depends, we could query both options

McCool: ...next week, I would like to merge this PR

McCool: we are going to merge this PR, but only because it's
blocking, even though the work been merged is a still on
   progress

<McCool> decision: merge, but work in progress, ok to ask for
   significant changes, file issues, etc.

   <McCool> [13]https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/pull/124

     [13] https://github.com/w3c/wot-discovery/pull/124

regarding the other PR, since farshid corrected the PR, it is
   going to be merged

   there are no more PR

  Publication plan

now meeting moves to talk about the schedule

   of the F2F

McCool: we need a stable draft for the 1st of April

McCool: in order to avoid runing out of time and to the end of
having a stable document, we need to prioritize topics to
   discuss in the meetings

the list of priorities includes: Directory API, JsonPath query
spec, Peer-to-peer, Query Filters (matching type),
   Introductions, Geolocation
