Guests

McCool: we have Fujisawa-san, the AC Rep. from NHK as a guest

Prev minutes

   McCool: fill in chair's name
   ... any comments?
   ... approved

PRs

   <inserted> [11]PR 57

     [11] https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/pull/57

   McCool: NHK created a PR.
   ... readme and jsonld files
   ... merged

TDs

   McCool: revised Hitachi TDs
... on TDs, we have contributions from 6 members

   [12]https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/blob/master/events/2020.
   09.Online/active.csv

     [12] https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/blob/master/events/2020.09.Online/active.csv

McCool: active devices and services on this plugfest
   ... (checking format)
... (fixing spaces and tabs in the active.csv List of submitted
   TDs)
... Siemens and Fujitsu TDs will be added to this list.

   scribenick: kaz

Kaz: it would be nicer to define some specific format for TD
itself so that we can extract that information and generate the
   "active.csv" file, wouldn't it?

McCool: need to identify the TD (or the device which includes
the TD) is "Active" or not in addition to the TD itself

   scribenick: ryuichi

McCool: even the TDs which are not "Active" should be
registered, because this information can be registered with the
directory and used for the query to directories.
... will attach annotations to these TDs for semantic searching
... create a new issue: annotate TDs with geolocation
   information

   scribenick: kaz

Daniel: (mentions the issue on TD related to geolocation
   information)

   <kaz> [13]wot-thing-description Issue 941

     [13] https://github.com/w3c/wot-thing-description/issues/941

   scribenick: ryuichi

Kaz: this topic is already expected to be discussed during the
joint meetings with JSON-LD and Geospatial in TPAC

McCool: Ben gave a good example
   ... using schema.org

   scribenick: kaz

Cristiano: yeah, we should start with that

Kaz: and see the gaps between schema.org and our requirements

   <kaz> [14]Issue 58

     [14] https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/issues/58

McCool: schema.org should be a good foundation for further
   discussion

Cristiano: would be nice to have visualization as well

McCool: would start with the information itself, the second
   step could include visualization

   new issue [15]https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/issues/60

     [15] https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/issues/60

   scribenick: ryuichi

Kaz: time synchronization for the transition of geolocation
information would be also needed for advanced use cases like VR
   games and connected cars

   McCool: it's a different issue

   scribenick: kaz

Kaz: my point is we need to think about mapping between time
series and geolocation information transition in the future

   McCool: (creates another issue)

   <kaz> [16]issue 62

     [16] https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/issues/62

McCool: also additional annotation for sensory modalities

NHK's proposal

Kaz: Issue 62 on UI modalities for accessibility is [17]Issue
   63 to NHK's proposal.

     [17] https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/issues/63

   <kaz> [18]NHK's TD

     [18] https://github.com/w3c/wot-testing/tree/master/events/2020.09.Online/TDs/NHK

McCool: can NHK show us a demo of their implementation?

Kaz: maybe they can show some demo today but mentioned that
they would like to join the actual PlugFest on Thursday, Oct. 1

McCool: would like to see how to handle semantic geolocation
   information as well.

AOB

   scribenick: ryuichi

Cristiano: have a plan to explain my TD tomorrow.

Ege: please contact me to obtain the access TDs

   scribenick: kaz

Toumura: would like to check introduction mechanism

McCool: will try to talk with Farshid as well
