Explainer video

Sebastian: sent email to Coralie to ask about animator they are
   already worked with
... but the web page is only in french, asked coralie if she
   can help
... would also like to ask for other offers in parallel
... from a professional agency, Kurzgesagt, based in Munich,
   that does good work

   <dape> [11]https://kurzgesagt.org/portfolio/bitdefender-2/

     [11] https://kurzgesagt.org/portfolio/bitdefender-2/

   <sebastian> [12]https://kurzgesagt.org/youtube/

     [12] https://kurzgesagt.org/youtube/

Sebastian: as a good example, there is a good video about IoT
   security

Kaz: video is ok, but the color highlight of the web page was
   not that good
... we will have to make sure it is accessible

W3C Web redesign status

Daniel: studio 24, which is an agency working on the W3C
redesign project, will be interviewing with us about the W3C
   site redesign
... they are collecting ideas; working with Coralie

<dape> Studio 24: The interviews are to take place in the May
   20-22 timeframe.

McCool: do they have a list of questions?

Daniel: no, but we should generate and gather some input

McCool: I think we need to identify our audience and our goals

Daniel: can look at the issues we have in the repo

McCool: let's create issues to collect feedback on web page

Daniel: makes sense, will create a label, and label existing
   issues that are relevant
   ... is there a marketing-only email list?

Kaz: no, suggest just using the main mailing list with a
   subject tag

McCool: any pending PRs on web site content?

Toumura: added PR to link to node-red tutorial content, and
also copied pres so it would be accessible to web site
... note there is no voice in video

McCool: should we create an issue to add a voice-over to the
   video?

   <kaz> [13]PR 61

     [13] https://github.com/w3c/wot-marketing/pull/61/files

Toumura: video is based on powerpoint, so people can just read
   the text...

McCool: we can add audio to the slides

<sebastian> ok from my side to merge the PR

Kaz: then we would need the ppt source...

Toumura: did not include the ppt, in fact took it out

Kaz: can you add ppt again?

McCool: then I will create issue to add audio

   <ktoumura>

   ot_nodegen_20200507.pptx

     [14] https://github.com/w3c/wot-marketing/blob/master/material/wot_nodegen_20200507.pptx

   [15]https://github.com/w3c/wot-marketing/issues/62

     [15] https://github.com/w3c/wot-marketing/issues/62

McCool: let's use generic names in the web site to avoid
   breaking links,
... but keep dated files in the github main materials archive

   Daniel: ok

McCool: let's merge the PRs and let dape clean up as above

   <kaz> +1

Daniel: I will edit directly without a pr

McCool: sounds fine since we agreed in this meeting

User community support

McCool: recently created two new calls meant for user community
... poc call and use case call
... poc call is ongoing, use case is on an as-needed basis
... we can use the poc call for tutorials, etc. in addition
   ... to other input activities
... I will update the wiki page, and ask the attendees next
   time if they want tutorials
... need to add a link to the web page...

Kaz: was wondering about "other" communities. Do we want to
   segment it?

McCool: I suggest we use one call and rotate though them
... eg right now we have smart city and retail
   ... can add more later
... but are domains the right way to think about this?

also think we should have a consistent template for PPT
   materials: [16]https://github.com/w3c/wot-marketing/issues/64

     [16] https://github.com/w3c/wot-marketing/issues/64

also we should link the PoC call as a "user community" call:
   [17]https://github.com/w3c/wot-marketing/issues/63

     [17] https://github.com/w3c/wot-marketing/issues/63
