I want to learn more!

Hi W3!
I just stumbled across what you guys are doing and its great! I'm 24
and work selling consumer tech in Australia and recently started to study
IT networking and python programming. Quickly realized this is what i love
and of course among the first things you learn is about the ancient
standards of the internet.
i don't really have anything to offer but i have a huge interest in all
things IoT and would like to know how i could get into what you guys are
doing or what to focus my studies on.
Any tips , guidance or opportunities you know of would be greatly
appreciated!
