-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 Two questions. 1) What is the difference between <embed> and <object> in the spec? The wording is quite different, but seem to say basically the same thing: "plugin data". 2) Under <object> it says: "The object element can represent an external resource, which, depending on the type of the resource, will either be treated as an image, as a nested browsing context, or as an external resource to be processed by a plugin." Why specify that a User Agent will use a plugin to process the data if it is not an image or nested browsing context? Why not leave that decision up to the User Agent? - -- Stephen Paul Weber, @singpolyma Please see <http://singpolyma.net> for how I prefer to be contacted. edition right joseph -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.9 (GNU/Linux) iQIcBAEBCAAGBQJKNtsfAAoJENEcKRHOUZze558P/jJXNIFxiav0ehYgMsILzl8W rRa3c10tmUhvto3TKmK8y+olY7NRoqiRqqJmpucbiactvNhBuidSjRqSyl1gOt1R Xa9824QXs6L4VMbM2oX95nPNkg2/GRbxkKgPDfSnduLZyHy25C2Mk5K+9ghaOy0e v4/sToSPI5BRSiqUHnX85WmQEvfCD49wPtNDIw1VOWBeIdsorVC+e3vacGICnb1Y 9miOqRHWzotdcj0r1fXQtzA9C1KrdEUu2kqPIVDJzarFWurPvQSuzK1kWy81n3di k7blf7rWmze7r3qG9oYvpvsULKVUh9jYU2D2G5hI8oMiPBiOjYoZisJDfEKvdoVo V54ulPwHT4bGHvaW2ge1LYIo/MbXjt/OTllTeDCBuLlKseFWf7vxmayHuUEtbKlz 9EDcpA029yE8ARrj+MuHJd8NZQjtwFHCAXsYUoruSKKUf5V7bha4puNNM0SwQJRd faYjtzWJHe4J5oUqukSDyXRauVn/4xQ9Gle1zpWw93ldrc1/qd/jigqVP0hP0+2A l5a9SnXSwqyzNHUCHwOyTL6g4Sh3t5U8mmt9E6IGbsmmZAfukAqQnUJg2VzZ4d2O jLI0X6xOQzIWq4wy42gWcE/k/CcwlrFExK673xymeA37hIEXVzSr5cgdMiAM0/6A +n36/B/yddxP4P2GUah+ =G0qz -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
