I'm trying to figure out what an HTML 5 menu might actually look like in code. Is something like this reasonable: <menu id="ed_toolbar"> <li><input onclick="edInsertTag(edCanvas, 0);" value="strong"></li> <li><input onclick="edInsertTag(edCanvas, 1);" value="em"></li> <li><input onclick="edInsertLink(edCanvas, 2);" value="link" ></li> <li><input onclick="edInsertTag(edCanvas, 3);" value="b-quote"></li> <li><input onclick="edInsertTag(edCanvas, 4);" value="del" ></li> <li><input onclick="edInsertTag(edCanvas, 5);" value="ins" ></li> <li><input onclick="edInsertImage(edCanvas);" value="img" ></li> <li><input onclick="edInsertTag(edCanvas, 7);" value="ul" ></li> <li><input onclick="edInsertTag(edCanvas, 8);" value="ol" ></li> <li><input onclick="edInsertTag(edCanvas, 9);" value="li" ></li> <li><input onclick="edInsertTag(edCanvas, 10);" value="code" ></li> <li><input onclick="edInsertTag(edCanvas, 11);" value="cite"></li> <li><input onclick="edInsertTag(edCanvas, 12);" value="abbr" ></li> <li><input onclick="edInsertTag(edCanvas, e13);" value="acronym" ></li> </menu> If not, what am I doing wrong? Would the menu items not contain JavaScript? or not contain input fields?" or what exactly? -- Elliotte Rusty Harold elharo at metalab.unc.edu Java I/O 2nd Edition Just Published! http://www.cafeaulait.org/books/javaio2/ http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ISBN=0596527500/ref=nosim/cafeaulaitA/
