Quoting Brendan Eich: "Insults about cluelessness from people who spam bugs with advocacy comments are a good reason to revoke bugzilla access from those clueless people." ... "However, most of the talented hackers I know dislike bugspam intensely, so I'm inclined to close this bug, open another one, and revoke bugzilla access from anyone who spams that bug. How's that for vending a clue, hmm?" They haven't closed the issue. They've closed the bug. http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97284#c203 Daniel Glazman says that they need "More contributors, less trollers." You may disagree with they way they're handling the spam in this bug, but don't misrepresent what's going on here. Mozilla is not opposed to addressing this bug. They're just sick of the spam.
